About Us
Our parent company, IISNet Networks (now renamed Instelink Broadband, LLC) was founded in 2001 to meet the demands of the hosting industry. At that time, the hosting industry was filled with providers that provided substandard service and support. Thus, the simple goal of providing quality web hosting service was born.
It was late 2001 when our company finally came to exist, as a reseller of another provider's services. When the provider was not able to deliver the quality and support we demanded, we set off to launch our own service, starting off with an Intel Celeron 433Mhz running RedHat Linux.
That was six years ago. Today, Instelink Broadband and vpsOne have exceeded what any of us had ever dreamed of. In 2005, we expanded into the telecom industry with our launch of our long distance plans and prepaid calling cards. In early 2006, we launched our digital telephone and teleconferencing services in Toronto, expanding to all of Canada and the United States.
Our digital telephone service was well received at launch, and subscriber growth has been extremely rapid over the past year. We have innovated and create features that previously was unavailable with other phone companies, and at the same time, lowering pricing to make it fair and affordable to all..
We officially launched vpsOne, our VPS hosting division in November 2009. In the same way, we want to revolutionalize the VPS industry. We are here to take it to the next level, not just with hosting, but with every product that we offer. We are here to make inspiration reality.
